Helpful Tips

Please do not send us a photograph and indicate you might have something valuable. If you believe you have something of value, the best thing to do is secure an appraisal from a qualified appraiser. Questionable Treasures will never be shown in the Showcase.

Treasure Showcase

The Treasure Showcase will exhibit art, jewelry, collectibles and any unique or rare item that has substantial provenance, authenticity or value. You'll find background information on each treasure, front and verso images, close up pictures on signatures, frames, and anything noteworthy about the treasure. You'll find information on catalogs, appraisals and any other supportive documentation that has been submitted. Fundamentally, we simply conduct the up front validation for you and present everything in an organized fashion for you to review.

Please keep in mind upon any sale, physical inspection of the treasure must be completed by your own experts. We simply assist you with the initial phase of acquisition and communicate back and forth anonymously between the parties until the inspection stage. When the inspection stage is reached, standard contracts must be signed to protect all parties before introductions occur.

Upon the sale of any item in our Showcase, a Treasure Fee is due from the Seller. Please visit the Treasure Fee Schedule for percentages due based on the selling price of any treasure.

How to Add A Treasure To The Showcase

It's free to list a treasure for sale until a sale occurs. Simply send us everything you have available on the treasure by email or regular mail. Include copies of any and all documents, appraisals, and catalogs or books where an item has appeared. Include pictures of the front and back of the items including close up pictures of the treasure itself, framing, signature(s), and even close up photographs of gallery or auctions stickers that might be present on the back of the treasure or collectible. If in doubt, snap the picture or send the supportive document. After our review of the submitted information, you'll be notified whether it passes our validation process. If it passes this process, the treasure in all its glory will be posted for sale in the Treasure Showcase with copies of all supporting documents.
